IHG says hackers brought down bookings, apps

InterContinental Hotels Group reported Tuesday that its bookings and mobile apps were “significantly disrupted” by a cyberattack, though the company did not specify the extent of the sabotage. An IHG spokesperson said the incident is not related to a ransomware attack at the Istanbul-based operations of its Holiday Inn properties.
