IHG terminates operations in Russia, home to 28 hotels

IHG Hotels & Resorts says it will halt all operations in Russia in response to the invasion of Ukraine and the complications wrought by US, UK and European Union sanctions against Moscow. The chain previously had suspended investments, hotel openings and development activity in Russia, site of 28 IHG-branded hotels.
