IHG to Debut Vignette Collection in U.K.

InterContinental Hotels Group has signed a deal to debut its Vignette Collection in the United Kingdom upon the opening later this year of The Halyard at Ropewalks Liverpool, IHG announced Thursday.

The new hotel is expected to open this year under a franchise agreement with U.K.-based Molo Hotels, the company said.

The expansion follows IHG’s announcements of plans to expand the brand into China and Germany. IHG also plans for openings in Hungary and Portugal, and during the next 10 years plans for more than 100 Vignette Collection properties to open globally.
