Ind. license issued to Churchill Downs for casino-resort

Following presentations by four gaming operators, Churchill Downs was awarded a casino license for Vigo County by the Indiana Gaming Commission and will now move ahead with plans to construct the Queen of Terre Haute casino. The $190 million project is expected to include a 56,400-square-foot gaming area, a sportsbook, a luxury hotel and an entertainment venue.
