Air Charter Services (Delhi International) has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Citation Jet 2+, registered as VT-PVV (msn 525A-0446). The light business jet, which is 15.8 years old, began operations on January 9, 2025, with its inaugural flight from its base at Delhi International Airport to Udaipur.

Previously registered as HB-VET in Switzerland, the Citation Jet 2+ was ferried to India between December 2-4, 2024. The aircraft departed Zurich and made refueling stops at Malta International, Riyadh, and Muscat before reaching Delhi. Configured to accommodate up to six passengers, the aircraft enhances Air Charter Services’ ability to meet growing demand for private air travel in India.

With this latest addition, Air Charter Services now operates a diverse fleet that includes a King Air B200, a Falcon 2000LX, a Falcon 8X (India’s only registered aircraft of this type), three Citation Excel jets, two Pilatus PC-12s, and two AW109 helicopters. The company provides a range of services, including private jet and helicopter charters, as well as medical evacuation flights.

The growing demand for private aviation in India, driven by business and luxury travel needs, is fueling fleet expansions among charter operators. The Citation Jet 2+ offers enhanced performance, efficiency, and comfort, making it a valuable addition to Air Charter Services’ offerings.

With a strong presence in India’s charter aviation sector, the company continues to expand its capabilities to serve both domestic and international clients.
