Interactive Platform 22Miles, Zoom Partner on Mtg. Space Booking
Zoom Video Communications partnered with interactive SaaS platform 22Miles on a booking solution dubbed 22Miles Space Booking Marketplace, integrating an organizations’ existing calendar to reserve meeting spaces within their facility, the companies announced Tuesday.
The 22Miles Space Booking Marketplace tool gives users access to the Zoom Marketplace— effectively Zoom’s app store—and Zoom account owners can add the 22Miles space booking tool to their existing Zoom account. The tool is compatible with Office360, G-Suite and bridges the gap for Outlook users to Zoom while adding a 3D element for users to virtually explore a meeting space before arriving. 22Miles users can also use Zoom to view existing space reservations, find available meeting spaces within their physical workspace and invite remote attendees. Employees can use the tool to reserve times from a variety of devices, while administrators can monitor meeting space activity, occupancy and sanitation needs, according to 22Miles.
“The integration with Zoom adds a layer to include hybrid workforces in this process,” a 22Miles representative told BTN over email. The news adds to Zoom’s growing list of hybrid-meeting partnerships, following its collaboration with Cvent last month.
22Miles is a privately owned software provider based in the Atlanta area, offering “experiential 3D wayfinding” and “digital signage,” according to the company.
