The Coronavirus Task Force has just announced the resumption of international flights from the airports of Krasnodar and Sochi. International traffic was discontinued in March 2020, following the introduction of quarantines and anti-Covid measures worldwide.

Flights abroad will resume on April 1. The list of countries and airports is still being clarified and will soon become known. The current schedule will appear on the airports ‘ website.

The airports are fully ready to operate international scheduled flights. Airports have been serving charter export flights to the ranks of the countries of the Eurasian Union for a long time. Also, Krasnodar Airport hosted foreign flights from Croatia, France, England, Greece, and Spain, as the local football club Krasnodar participated in the Champions League and the Europa League. The club’s opponents were Chelsea, Rennes, Sevilla, PAOK and Dynamo Zagreb.

Now residents of Kuban and citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to return home by direct flights. Airlines are ready to start flights to popular destinations very soon.

Measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection are observed at airports. Passengers use personal respiratory protection equipment and observe social distances in the terminal terminals and onboard the aircraft. Also at the airport, the temperature is automatically measured by thermal imagers of all passengers and guests at the entrance during the inspection of the terminal.

Passengers have given a lot of support to airports. They were active on social media and signed petitions to open an international message.
