Internova and Prime Numbers Join Forces for CO2 Reporting and Offsetting Initiative

Internova Travel Group is partnering with Prime Numbers Technology and carbon offsetting provider Sustainable Travel International to offer a carbon management solution to corporate clients.

Prime Numbers announced the addition of carbon emission reporting into its Prime Analytics software last month. With collaboration from Internova, the former Travel Leaders Group, the emissions report in Prime Analytics will include the ability for clients to indicate how much carbon they wish to offset next to a link. That will transfer the data to Sustainable Travel International via their API, where they can purchase the offsets.

“We are excited for the next phase of our carbon strategy, which will bring the total offsets purchased into the platform,” Prime Numbers president Mark Bresnahan said in a statement. “Organizations will be able to track emissions and purchased offsets in one location, as well as set carbon goals and budgets.”

Available offsets through Sustainable Travel International include forestry, energy and marine systems carbon projects. The projects are verified through a third-party process to ensure they create measurable emission reductions, according to the companies.
