Investors cautiously optimistic as they wait for price discovery
Some commercial real estate deals have slowed as investors wait for clarity around pricing, but investors’ attitude is one of cautious optimism, says PwC’s Byron Carlock, noting that there’s plenty of dry powder waiting for an opportune time to invest. “Demand on the street from any of the product types is still quite good, especially multifamily, industrial, even the hotel sector. And frankly, retail is picking up again,” Carlock says.
