Israir will wet-lease one Airbus A320-200 from Romanian ACMI operator FLYYO for the upcoming Summer 2025 travel season. The lease agreement begins on June 1 and will run through October 25, with the aircraft set to operate flights to multiple European destinations from Israir’s base at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, FLYYO operates two 2007-built A320-200s, YR-ADA (msn 3218) and YR-ADC (msn 3256). Both are powered by CFM56 engines and configured in an all-economy layout with 180 seats. The aircraft are owned by Thunderbolt Aircraft Lease and were formerly operated by flynas before joining FLYYO in 2024.

Israir plans to use the wet-leased A320 on routes from Tel Aviv to Kerkyra, Thessaloniki, Athens, Berlin Brandenburg, Budapest, Chania, Ljubljana, Naples, Bucharest, Paphos, and Rhodes. While Israir has not confirmed which specific aircraft will be used, Flightradar24 data shows YR-ADA is currently wet-leased to Arkia Israeli Airlines, and YR-ADC most recently flew for HiSky Europe and Arkia.

FLYYO is preparing to expand its fleet with the addition of a 2011-built A320-200, YR-ADD (msn 4681), previously operated by Vueling Airlines. The aircraft is expected to be delivered this month.

Israir currently operates a fleet of eight in-house A320-200s and leases an additional five A320s from various carriers, including Fly Lili, Hello Jets, Smartwings (Czechia), and Trade Air. The seasonal lease from FLYYO is part of Israir’s ongoing strategy to meet high summer travel demand across Europe.
