Italy’s police stated they froze assets value 146 million euros ($153 million) owned by Superjet International, a three way partnership between Russia’s Sukhoi and Leonardo, because the nation chases companies hit by EU sanctions towards Moscow.

The transfer targets Sukhoi’s 90% stake in the three way partnership and different assets together with 5 plane, Italy’s finance police stated. The 10% stake owned by Leonardo has not been frozen, they stated.

Superjet worldwide relies in Venice and employs round 140 staff in Italy. ($1 = 0.9527 euros) Reuters.com
