Jamco Continues Advancements in the Development of the Quest for Elegance Seat
Jamco Corporation is continuing the development of its new Quest seat and aims to have it ready for installation in late 2025 or 2026.
Aircraft interior products supplier Jamco says the “Quest for Elegance” business class seat concept meets the demand for an inventive, spacious seat for high density business class interior cabins without compromising comfort.
Just some of the innovative features include a new patented angled tilt monitor and an industrial design focused on providing an elegant premium ‘hotel in the sky’ while maintaining competitive density.
The Quest seat, which was awarded the iF design award last year, features a one-of-a-kind tilting entertainment screen with a wide-angle adjustment that lets passengers enjoy entertainment in reclined, sleep or bed mode position. A spacious full-flat bed when two centre seats are combined is available for passengers travelling together and easily deployable partitions and an optional aisle side door are also some of the features offered on board.
The seat was first exhibited at AIX in 2019 and since then, Jamco has used feedback from airlines, aircraft manufacturers and lessors to redefine the Quest design.
