Japan Airlines Unveils ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ Livery
Japan Airlines (JAL) has introduced a new special livery named the ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express,’ celebrating the recently opened Fantasy Springs area within Tokyo DisneySea® theme park. This vibrant new design will adorn one of JAL’s Boeing 767-300ER aircraft (registration JA622J), which serves domestic routes across Japan.
The ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ livery draws inspiration from Fantasy Springs, a magical addition to Tokyo DisneySea® that opened in June 2024. The new park area brings beloved Disney stories to life, featuring themes from classic films like ‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Frozen,’ and ‘Tangled.’ This special livery marks the continuation of JAL’s longstanding partnership with Tokyo DisneySea®, a relationship that has seen the airline decorate five other aircraft with Disney motifs since 2001.

Passengers traveling on the ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ will enjoy a fully immersive Disney experience, with themed elements such as headrest covers, paper cups, commemorative gifts, and boarding pass stickers. You Can Fly!’ and ‘Journey to Fantasy Springs’ will be played during boarding and deplaning, enhancing the overall experience for travelers.
The Boeing 767-300ER featuring this special livery is scheduled to enter service in early October 2024.
