Jet fuel demand finally bouncing back

US refiners are gradually ramping jet fuel production back to normal levels as a surge in air travel is starting to lift demand for the fuel and driving up refining margins, according to an S&P Global Platts analysis. “Demand for travel is coming back as vaccinations have increased across the country,” said American Airlines CEO Derek Kerr.
