JetBlue exec discusses new Fla. route

JetBlue’s Scott Laurence said the airline saw its new route between Los Angeles and Jacksonville, Fla., as a natural expansion to an unserved market when demand is growing to domestic vacation destinations and also a route that can attract business travelers when they return. “If you look at the general economy in Florida and particularly in Jacksonville — it’s something that we saw and we’re very optimistic about,” Laurence said.
