JetBlue launches 2nd transatlantic UK route to London Gatwick
This week, JetBlue launched service between Boston and London’s Gatwick airport, the carrier’s second transatlantic route. The airline began its foray into transatlantic service in August with flights from New York to London Heathrow. “It’s clear there is significant pent up demand for travel between our two countries and that our Gatwick launch is well timed to meet the growing number of customers returning to the skies,” said Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue’s president and chief operating officer.
