JetBlue has unveiled a fresh livery design for its aircraft fleet, featuring a striking all-blue color scheme with unique patterns. This marks the first complete update to JetBlue’s paint design since its inception in 2000. The new design reflects JetBlue’s identity as a disruptive force in the industry, known for offering affordable fares and exceptional service.

The initial aircraft to showcase the new design is an Airbus A321 with Mint, scheduled to begin operations on June 15. JetBlue plans to repaint all of its planes with this captivating livery over the next few years.

The airline introduced a new standard livery, replacing the previous white-focused fuselages with an all-blue design. In a Twitter video, JetBlue shared that the updated livery represents a fresh and bold look, in line with the company’s progressive approach to travel.

Named “A Defining MoMint,” the first aircraft to don the new livery is an Airbus A321 registered as N982JB, delivered to the airline in August 2017. The A321 recently flew to Macon Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN), Georgia, United States, between May 29 and June 14, 2023, before returning to JFK. It subsequently operated a round-trip itinerary to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on June 15, 2023, and is scheduled for another round-trip journey to Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).

JetBlue plans to unveil refreshed versions of their existing patterns as the rest of the fleet becomes repaint-ready, offering a dynamic runway debut.

“A Defining MoMint” is equipped with 16 Mint suites, providing a refreshing take on premium travel. Additionally, passengers can enjoy a tech-forward and trek-friendly Core experience, along with a fully-stocked grab-and-go Pantry.

Previously known as “One Mint, Two Mint, Blue Mint, You Mint,” JetBlue’s fleet consists of 34 Airbus A321s equipped with Mint Suites, while another 28 A321s are configured with an all-economy 200-seat layout.
