JetBlue wins Heathrow extension to Oct. 2022

JetBlue has secured landing slots needed to continue flying from New York to London’s Heathrow Airport through October 2022 and wants to keep the route permanently. “It’s now widely recognized that losing JetBlue on this route would be a major setback for travelers who enjoy low fares and great service” and the airline is “committed to collaborating with regulators as well as the US and UK governments to identify a pathway to staying at Heathrow for the long-term,” said CEO Robin Hayes.
