Jetpool Ends Embraer Operations After Retiring Phenom 100

Jetpool (Austria) has ceased operations with Embraer Executive Jets, following the retirement of its sole Phenom 100. The aircraft, OE-FJP (msn 50000271), last flew under Jetpool’s ‘JPV’ code on March 15, 2024, between Nice and Altenrhein.

On January 6, 2025, the 12.9-year-old jet completed a test flight around Altenrhein before embarking on a three-day ferry to the United States. It arrived at Greenville/Spartanburg Donaldson on January 10, with stops in Ostend, Wick, Reykjavik, Nuuk, Iqaluit, Goose Bay, Bangor, and Wilmington. The jet was reregistered as N555FD in the U.S. on January 16 and has remained grounded since.

Originally registered in Mexico, the Phenom 100 spent seven years there before being exported to the U.S. and later Czechia. It joined Jetpool’s fleet in 2023, marking the Austrian company’s first and only Embraer aircraft.

Jetpool, now focusing on its Citation XLS+ fleet, operates two of these aircraft for private jet charters and aircraft management. Founded in 2004 by Swiss national John Rageth, Jetpool specializes in business aviation services. Rageth also founded Swiss Global Jet in 2002, which operates two Premier IAs—one registered in Switzerland and another in Germany—but does not hold an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC).

The retirement of the Phenom 100 signals Jetpool’s shift to consolidating operations around its Citation aircraft.
