Astronaut Sunita Williams

Please join us for a special event at the Annual Meeting. The Wings Club Foundation will present the Annual Outstanding Aviator Award to Captain Sunita Williams, U.S. Navy, Retired.

Captain Williams is a former astronaut and US Navy test pilot. She was selected as an astronaut by NASA in 1998 and is a veteran of three space missions. In June 2024, Williams initial eight-day mission to the International Space Station became an extended stay of nine months.

The Wings Club Foundation Outstanding Aviator Award has been presented since 2010. The award recognizes airmen and airwomen for their contributions to aviation and serve as leadership role models.
