Juano Upgrades Fleet with Its First Citation M2

Juano has modernized its operations by replacing its long-serving Citation Jet 1+ with its first Citation M2, according to operations manager Jorge Andreolli. “Since our founding in 2017, we’ve operated a Citation Jet 1+ for regional flights with excellent results,” Andreolli noted. “When the time came for an update, we selected the Citation M2 as its natural successor.” The new aircraft, registered as LV-KMY (msn 525-1014), is a six-year-old jet configured to accommodate up to six passengers. While it currently holds a private operations certification, Juano is anticipating certification from Argentina’s civil aviation authority (ANAC) for commercial operations in the near future.
Previously flown in Canada as C-FMMF, the Citation M2 last operated on November 26, 2024, on a flight between Grand Forks and Wichita Eisenhower before being re-registered in the United States as N673JM. After a period of three months of inactivity, the jet was exported to Argentina on February 12, 2025, under its new registration, LV-KMY. The journey to Juano’s base in San Fernando, AR, took the aircraft through stops at Fort Lauderdale International, Balboa, Trujillo Carlos Martinez de Pinillos, and Santa Cruz Viru Viru.
With the acquisition of the Citation M2, Juano has now streamlined its fleet, as the older Citation Jet 1+ (LV-GVQ, msn 525-0602) is currently up for sale. The 19.1-year-old Jet 1+, which was last active on February 14 flying between Punta del Este and San Fernando, has been replaced entirely by the new model. For now, Andreolli confirmed that there are no immediate plans to expand the fleet further, as the new Citation M2 will serve as the sole aircraft in Juano’s operations moving forward.
