Juniper Group has acquired Cardiff-based travel software provider Inspiretec for an undisclosed amount, further strengthening its position in the global travel technology sector.

Founded in 1995, Inspiretec specializes in reservation systems, customer relationship management (CRM), and digital solutions for travel agencies and tour operators. The company also offers advanced modules, including self-service portals and quotation tools designed to streamline operations and enhance customer engagement.

Juniper said the acquisition will enable Inspiretec to expand its connectivity, integrate new services, and deliver more comprehensive technology solutions to clients worldwide.

“Today marks an exciting new chapter for Inspiretec,” said Simon Powell, founder and CEO of Inspiretec. “Becoming part of Juniper Group allows us to enhance our platform by integrating innovative products and services from across the group.”

Juniper Group CEO Jaime Sastre praised Inspiretec’s expertise, saying he is confident the partnership will “enhance the end-to-end travel distribution experience” for customers by leveraging Juniper’s suite of market-leading technologies.

The acquisition marks another milestone in Juniper Group’s aggressive expansion strategy. The company, part of Vela Software and Constellation Software, has recently acquired several travel and technology firms, including InteRES, RezMagic, BMF Media Information Technology, and Scotland-based Traveltek.

With Inspiretec now joining the portfolio, Juniper continues to consolidate its footprint across key sectors of the global travel technology ecosystem.
