Juniper Group Expands Travel Tech Portfolio with InteRES Acquisition

Juniper Group has acquired Germany-based connectivity and retailing specialist InteRES, marking its third acquisition in under a year. The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.
Juniper, an operating group of Vela Software and Constellation Software, has been aggressively expanding its travel technology portfolio. The company acquired flight management platform Lleego in mid-2024 and, more recently, Traveltek. InteRES will continue to operate independently but will collaborate with other Juniper brands, including Peakwork, which joined the group in 2023.
“InteRES’ talented team brings a unique skill set in the airline industry, and we’re excited to offer their clients access to our global travel software network,” said Jaime Sastre, CEO of Juniper Group and founder of Juniper Travel Technology.
Peakwork CEO Manuel Saballus welcomed the acquisition, noting the potential synergies and new opportunities it presents. “We’ve known InteRES for a long time and are thrilled to have such an experienced team join the Juniper family,” he said.
InteRES CEO and founder Volker Hermann expressed optimism about the partnership. “Joining Juniper Group provides a forever home for our customers and employees, while opening avenues for global growth and enhanced B2B distribution.”
The acquisition aligns with Juniper Group’s broader strategy of consolidating innovative travel technology companies to offer a comprehensive, end-to-end software solution for travel industry players worldwide.
