Kids Ride Free During Amtrak’s Summer Travel Flash Sale

Amtrak has launched a Summer Travel Flash Sale offering free companion fares for all kids, ages 2 to 12, traveling with at least one adult.

Available now through June 20, the tickets are valid for Monday through Thursday departures taking place between June 30 and September 30, 2023.

The rail experience offers several perks compared to crowded air travel as guests can look forward to comfortable spacious seats and ample leg room with no middle seat. They can also arrive minutes before boarding.

This month’s limited-time offer is available on most routes for Coach and Acela Business Class only, Amtrak said.
