Landmark protection sought for NYC’s Roosevelt Hotel

A group of New York City elected officials is seeking a city landmark designation for the historic Roosevelt Hotel, which has been closed since December 2020. The petitioners fear the owner, Pakistan International Airlines, will convert the deteriorating, legally entangled property to a non-hotel use property.
