Las Vegas’ Pandemic-idled Palms sold to tribe for $650M

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has agreed to purchase the Palms casino-resort in Las Vegas for $650 million from Red Rock Resorts, the seller announced. “It wasn’t something we were contemplating pre-COVID,” said Red Rock board Vice Chairman Lorenzo Fertitta, but he noted that a shutdown since the start of the pandemic forced a reassessment of the asset.
