Lennert l’Amie succeeds Sjoerd Blüm as CIO at Schiphol
As of 1 February 2023, Lennert l’Amie will be Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Royal Schiphol Group. He succeeds Sjoerd Blüm, who has held this position since 2017. Lennert has worked for Schiphol since 2014 and currently manages Business Platform Airport Operations.
It’s impressive what IT & Data has achieved and which ambitions have been set out under Sjoerd’s leadership. With Lennert, we have a suitable successor to continue working on that. Lennert has experience in all areas of IT & Data and has a clear short- and long-term vision for IT & Data at Schiphol. I have every confidence that Lennert and colleagues will bring this vision to life.
CFO Robert Carsouw
Schiphol is a wonderful company, and I am proud to be able to continue working towards our ambitions as CIO. Technology and data are crucial to continue to meet the challenges ahead, from passenger experience to the pressure on the labour market. I am looking forward to making a contribution, together with all colleagues, in these extraordinary times.
Lennert l‘Amie
It has been an honour to lead Schiphol’s digital transformation as CIO. I Iook back with pride and joy on a great period and on collaborating with motivated colleagues. We have provided solutions in all areas at Schiphol, from the Operation to Real Estate, and from Asset Management to Security. And we’ve established a solid IT & Data foundation for the future – from the Schiphol app to the workplace, and from the platforms to sensor networks. Everything has a strong cyber security base. Now, it’s time for something different and I am happy to be handing over the baton to Lennert. After the handover, I will continue to be active for Schiphol Group Aviation Solutions.
