Leviate Jet Acquires Stake in Chairman Aviation

Leviate Jet Management (SBE) is accelerating its growth strategy with the acquisition of a 60% stake in Chairman Aviation (CHR), based at Dallas Love Field. This strategic move is part of Leviate’s ambitious expansion plan to double its managed fleet within the next 12 to 18 months by acquiring additional operators. Managing partner Rob Rosenberg highlighted this acquisition as a pivotal step in enhancing Leviate’s market presence and operational capabilities.
Chairman Aviation, which will continue to operate under its existing Part 135 certificate, brings three aircraft into the combined fleet: a Citation Jet 3+, a Citation X, and a Citation X+. These aircraft will be seamlessly integrated into Leviate’s management program, strengthening the company’s diverse fleet and expanding its service offerings. By incorporating Chairman Aviation’s assets, Leviate is poised to offer enhanced charter services, leveraging the strengths of both fleets to meet the growing demand for private aviation solutions.
Leviate Jet’s current Part 135-certified fleet includes two Bombardier Business Aircraft Challenger 300s, one Citation XLS, one Citation XLS+, and a newly added Embraer Executive Jets Phenom 300. With the integration of Chairman Aviation’s fleet, Leviate’s managed aircraft will significantly increase, setting the stage for further expansion. By the end of 2024, Leviate anticipates having 13 aircraft on its charter certificate, positioning itself as a leading player in the private jet management sector.
Looking ahead, Leviate plans to sustain its rapid growth by acquiring one or two more operators over the next 18 months. These acquisitions will allow Leviate to maintain the current certificates of the new operators initially, with plans to transition them to the Leviate brand eventually. This approach ensures a smooth integration process while expanding the company’s operational footprint. Leviate’s model emphasizes based-managed aircraft, enabling operations under multiple certificates and providing flexibility to meet diverse client needs.
In addition to its current fleet, Leviate recently announced plans to add a Citation M2 Gen2 and five to six Honda Aircraft HA-420s. The addition of the HondaJet aircraft is viewed as an opportunistic move to enhance fleet versatility, while future acquisitions will focus on expanding Leviate’s super-midsize and large-cabin fleet. According to Leviate’s CEO, Luis Barros, these strategic additions will bolster the company’s ability to offer a wider range of private aviation services, catering to both business and leisure travelers seeking luxury, reliability, and efficiency.
Leviate Jet Management operates by partnering with aircraft owners to generate revenue through charter services. While the company offers a jet card program, the majority of its revenue is derived from retail charter bookings, primarily through ad-hoc services. This business model allows Leviate to maximize the utilization of its managed fleet, providing aircraft owners with consistent revenue streams while offering clients flexible and high-quality charter options.
The acquisition of Chairman Aviation is a testament to Leviate’s commitment to growth and excellence in the private aviation industry. By expanding its fleet and integrating additional operators, Leviate is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for premium charter services. The company’s focus on strategic acquisitions and fleet diversification ensures that it can provide comprehensive and tailored aviation solutions to a broad clientele.
As Leviate Jet Management continues to expand, it remains dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and operational efficiency. The integration of Chairman Aviation’s fleet into Leviate’s management program enhances the company’s ability to deliver exceptional private jet services, reinforcing its position as a trusted leader in the industry.
