Lindblad Expeditions has announced the most successful seven-day sales period in its history, marking a new milestone for the expedition cruise operator. From July 23 to 29, the company experienced record-breaking demand for its co-branded National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions voyages.

The surge in bookings coincided with the early reservation window for past guests and travel advisors for the brand’s 2027-28 global deployment. Public bookings officially opened on July 30, further fueling excitement across the market.

“We’re thrilled to see such strong demand for our awe-inspiring expeditions,” said Noah Brodsky, chief commercial officer at Lindblad Expeditions. “Our team works tirelessly to design distinctive itineraries and deliver authentic, enriching experiences in some of the world’s most extraordinary places. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that resonate with travelers, and we are especially grateful to our travel advisor partners whose support continues to drive this record-breaking momentum.”

The 2027-28 deployment includes voyages to all seven continents, featuring immersive itineraries led by expert naturalists, historians, scientists, and National Geographic specialists. Highlights include new sailings in Oceania and Easter Island, additional departures in Alaska and Japan, and expanded offerings in the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Galápagos Islands.

“With interest at record highs, we encourage guests to book early to secure their spot on these remarkable journeys,” Brodsky added.

The record-setting sales week underscores the growing demand for expedition cruising, as travelers continue to seek meaningful, sustainable travel experiences to the world’s most remote and iconic destinations.
