Lodz Airport: Polish Nationals can travel to and from Turkey with their ID Cards only
Poles do not need passports to visit Türkiye.
“As of 19 April 2022 Polish Nationals can travel to or transit from Türkiye with their ID Cards only. They no longer need to have their passports with them on touristic trips of a maximum of 90 days.” – has informed the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Warsaw on Twitter.
This information has been confirmed by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is a great message for Polish tourists! The Turkish coast is one of the most popular destinations to visit by Poles. In 2021, every fourth polish travel agency client bought a trip to Turkey.
Last year, charter flights to Antalya from Lodz Airport were in high demand, and have been fully booked. That’s why this year the offer of flights from our city to Turkey will be doubled.
No need to have a passport to go to Turkey is also good news for the Polish aviation industry due to the fact that the World Routes 2023 event will be held in Istanbul.
Lodz Airport Central Poland Team would like to congrats our friends from Turkey and can ensure to visit Istanbul in 2023!
But first, we want to invite all of you to come to Lodz for the Routes Europe event and fill the magic spirit of this city on your own.
