Lufthansa Opens Booking for Allegris Suites in 2025

Lufthansa has announced that its highly anticipated Allegris First and Business Class seats will be available for commercial booking on selected flights starting March 30, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the German flag carrier as it introduces a new level of luxury and comfort to its long-haul passengers.

Initial Routes Featuring Allegris
The first routes where travelers can experience the Allegris product are from Munich Airport (MUC) to:

  • Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG)
  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
  • Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)

Lufthansa plans to add more destinations in the coming weeks and months, expanding the availability of Allegris cabins across its international network. Passengers will also have the option of individual seat selection, allowing them to customize their in-flight experience further.

Enhanced Business Class Options
For Business Class bookings:

  • Classic Seat Reservation: Remains free of charge.
  • Privacy Seats with Extra Long Bed: Available for an additional €100 ($105).
  • Extra Space Seat: Starts from €130 ($136.50).
  • Business Class Suite Seats: Featuring higher privacy walls, a personal wardrobe, sliding doors, extra space, and a larger entertainment monitor, these can be booked for €400 ($420).

These options provide Business Class passengers with a range of choices to enhance their comfort and privacy during the flight.

Luxurious First Class Suites
In First Class:

  • Basic Suites: Can be reserved in advance free of charge.
  • Large Suite Plus: Offers the option to travel with a companion in a private suite. This exclusive experience starts from €1,900 ($1,995) for single use.

These suites are designed to provide the utmost luxury, featuring spacious accommodations and personalized services.

Economy Class Enhancements
Economy passengers can also upgrade their travel experience:

  • Extra Legroom: Available starting from €50 ($52.50).

This option allows Economy travelers to enjoy additional comfort on long-haul flights without a significant increase in cost.

Rewards for Loyal Customers
To show appreciation for its loyal customers, Lufthansa is reserving 80% of the seat options in Business Class to be selected free of charge by Lufthansa Group members, depending on their status. This initiative underscores the airline’s commitment to rewarding frequent flyers and providing added value to their travel experiences.

Introduction of Allegris on A350-900 Aircraft
After months of anticipation, the first Lufthansa Airbus A350-900 equipped with the Allegris First Class suite took its inaugural flight from Munich International Airport (MUC) to Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) on November 9, 2024. This flight marked the debut of the Allegris product in Lufthansa’s fleet.

The airline has also announced that a second A350 aircraft featuring all four Allegris classes—First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy—will begin services from December 2025. This expansion will allow more passengers to experience the enhanced comfort and luxury that Allegris cabins offer.
