Luxaviation Portugal (LMJ) has retired its sole Citation XLS+, as confirmed by ch-aviation research, while Luxaviation Group will continue to operate this aircraft type globally. The aircraft, CS-EFF (msn 560-6185), completed its last flight under Luxaviation Portugal’s code on August 17, 2024, which included trips from St. Nazaire to Palma de Mallorca, London Luton, and finally Paris Le Bourget. After a test flight on October 3, it was re-registered as YU-MPA and departed for Belgrade Nikola Tesla on November 6.

This 9.5-year-old jet, configured for up to eight passengers, currently has no assigned operator according to the Serbian civil aviation regulator. It was initially delivered to EFS European Flight Service and flew under a Swedish registration for three years before joining Luxaviation Portugal.

Following the retirement of the Citation XLS+, Luxaviation has paused its Cessna Aircraft Company operations in Portugal, where it now operates a fleet of four aircraft: one Falcon 2000, one Falcon 900LX, one Global 6000, and one Global 6500. Luxaviation Group maintains multiple Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) globally, offering private jet charters, aircraft management, acquisitions and sales, and fractional ownership services, supported by a network of fixed-base operations (FBOs) at various international locations.
