The Majestic Princess has returned to the water following an extensive makeover that introduced modern venues and enhanced features for an exceptional travel experience. Princess Cruises invested significant effort into updating the ship’s design, amenities, and dining options to meet the evolving tastes of today’s travelers. During a focused two‐week period in Palermo, Italy, the ship underwent changes that transformed its onboard atmosphere, ensuring every guest experiences a blend of luxury, comfort, and innovation.
One notable improvement is the reimagining of several key venues that now offer engaging experiences. O’Malley’s Irish Pub, replacing the former Vines Wine Bar, delivers an authentic Irish experience complete with traditional music, hearty fare, and a warm, welcoming ambiance. Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, succeeding Harmony Restaurant, serves classic Italian cuisine with a modern twist, presenting freshly prepared dishes in a stylish setting. Good Spirits At Sea has taken over from the Piazza Bar, offering a sophisticated space where guests can enjoy a curated selection of premium beverages.
The ship also features new retail and entertainment options that enhance the overall guest experience. The Candy Story and The Shops of Princess: EFFY, emerging from the transformation of Calypso Cove, add a playful element to the vessel, inviting guests to explore unique gifts and sweet treats. Captains Arcade, rebranded from Churchill’s Video Arcade, provides interactive entertainment and nostalgic gaming experiences for travelers of all ages. The Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar, which replaces the old Ocean Terrace Bar, elevates the ship’s culinary offerings with expertly crafted sushi in a modern dining setting. The Princess Photo Gallery, formerly the Library, now serves as a creative space where guests can capture memories and enjoy a curated display of maritime art and photography.
The ship’s 2025 itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to offer diverse experiences throughout the year. Remaining in the Mediterranean until July, the Majestic Princess will allow guests to explore historic coastal cities and enjoy scenic views along the shores of this captivating region. In August and September, the ship is set to sail to Canada and New England, offering opportunities to experience the charm of North American cities and the natural beauty of the area.
