Malta’s Air CM Global adds first Dash 8-100
Air CM Global (RJR, Malta Int’l) has added its first Dash 8-100 in the form of 9H-CTG (msn 222), its largest aircraft to date. The 30.8-year-old De Havilland Aircraft of Canada turboprop was previously operated by now-defunct Schreiner Airways and then Medavia. It had been stored at Malta Int’l since March 2020, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. On April 8, 2021, it operated a technical flight under Air CM Global’s code. Thus far, the business charter specialist has operated one Bombardier Challenger 604, one Global Express 700, one Learjet 45, one Learjet 60XR, and one Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 200. The Dash 8-100 was Medavia’s only unit of the type. Following its retirement and transfer to Air CM Global, the carrier continues to operate two CRJ1000ERs, two Beech 1900Ds, and one DHC-8-Q300, according to the Maltese aircraft register.
