Fly Solutions has officially secured its Maltese Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) #MT-86, granted on February 28, 2025, and launched operations with two Pilatus PC-12NGX aircraft based in Rotterdam. This milestone marks the start of the company’s expansion in the European business aviation market, with a focus on Pilatus aircraft management and charter services.

The first aircraft, 9H-TIW (msn 2431), was delivered to Malta International Airport from the Pilatus manufacturing site in Buochs on February 20, 2025. It was repositioned to Rotterdam on March 8. The second aircraft, 9H-WIT (msn 1906), was already stationed in Rotterdam prior to the AOC approval.

Tim de Meijer, CEO and accountable manager of Fly Solutions, said the company plans to expand its fleet by acquiring additional Pilatus aircraft. The operator aims to develop a robust aircraft management service specializing in the Pilatus brand, leveraging its operational base in the Netherlands.

Fly Solutions is supported on the commercial front by its Dutch parent company, FlyDedicated B.V., which does not hold an AOC. The Maltese operator is wholly owned by Fly Dedicated Holding Limited, a company registered in Malta, which in turn is owned by FlyDedicated B.V.

With its new AOC and growing fleet, Fly Solutions is positioned to serve the European charter market, offering efficient, premium short-haul services using its versatile PC-12NGX turboprop aircraft. The company’s focus on Pilatus aircraft aligns with increasing demand for cost-effective, flexible private aviation options across the region.
