Malta’s JetHouse Launches Bombardier Challenger 605 Operations

JetHouse (JTH, Malta International) has officially commenced Bombardier Business Aircraft operations with the addition of its first Challenger 605, registered as 9H-AZZA (msn 5968). According to ch-aviation data, this 11-year-old jet previously flew under AllianceJet (Malta) and marks a significant milestone for JetHouse as it expands its fleet.
The Challenger 605, last active under AllianceJet’s ‘ALE’ code in December 2024, operated a flight between Verona and Kortrijk before transitioning to JetHouse. It began operations under the ‘JTH’ code on January 3, 2025, with a flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle. Configured to accommodate up to 11 passengers, this jet is ideal for business and luxury travel.
The addition of the Challenger 605 complements JetHouse’s existing Falcon 7X, a 16.6-year-old aircraft certified in February 2024. The Falcon 7X, capable of seating up to 13 passengers, was introduced alongside JetHouse’s strategic plans for fleet expansion, as outlined in its United States Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) application in 2024.
While JetHouse broadens its operations, AllianceJet has refocused its fleet, now operating a Falcon 900LX, a Global 6000, and three PC-12s. The strategic moves by both operators highlight the dynamic growth of Malta’s business aviation sector.
JetHouse’s focus on premium aircraft underscores its commitment to offering high-quality charter services and meeting the growing demand for luxury air travel across Europe and beyond.
