In a significant step towards this goal, the cruise line has announced the appointment of Frank Belzer as the new Senior Vice President of Sales and Partner Relations. Belzer’s expertise in business development will be pivotal in building and leading a team dedicated to enhancing partnerships with travel advisors.

Belzer, known for his contributions to TravelPulse and Travel Weekly, joins Margaritaville at Sea at a time when the brand is expanding its horizons. The introduction of their second ship, the Islander, which offers longer itineraries and new ports of call, marks a new phase in the cruise line’s growth. Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, emphasizes Belzer’s remarkable track record and qualifications, making him the ideal leader to spearhead this expansion and strengthen trade relationships as part of the overall growth strategy.

With a rich background in sales and marketing, Belzer brings valuable experience from his tenure at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida, and his previous roles at Universal Parks & Resorts and Kurlan and Associates. His involvement with organizations like Experience Kissimmee, Grand Canyon Resort Corporation, and Visit Florida further highlights his industry expertise.

Belzer’s approach centers on forging effective, long-term relationships with travel advisors, prioritizing a deep understanding of consumer needs and mindsets. This philosophy is expected to guide Margaritaville at Sea’s efforts in exploring new sales channels with travel advisors, aiming to introduce a wider audience to the unique Margaritaville at Sea experience.

As part of this initiative, Belzer and his team are set to develop trade industry programs slated for launch in the coming year. This follows Margaritaville at Sea’s earlier efforts to engage travel advisors, including the launch of a dedicated website, BookParadise.com, ahead of its inaugural sailing last spring.
