Margaritaville at Sea is set to enhance its cruise offerings with the introduction of its newest flagship, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, in June 2024. The vessel will embark on extended 4- and 5-night cruises, featuring exotic stops at Key West, Cozumel, and Progreso, offering guests more opportunities to explore and enjoy.

Currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander is being outfitted to accommodate 2,650 guests across its twelve decks and 1,100 staterooms. The ship, upon its debut, will feature an impressive 14-story atrium and a three-story poolside LandShark Bar at Sea, among other amenities.

The inaugural journey of the Margaritaville at Sea Islander is scheduled for June 14, 2024, commencing with a 4-night itinerary from Port Tampa Bay to Cozumel. This marks the first time the cruise line will operate from Port Tampa Bay, Florida, expanding its geographic footprint and offering new adventures to its guests.

Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, expressed excitement about the new ship, noting that it responds to guests’ desires for more scenic views, longer itineraries, and fresh destinations. The addition of the Islander signifies a significant growth phase for Margaritaville at Sea, and the selection of Tampa as a new homeport aligns perfectly with the company’s vision to provide access to adventurous new itineraries in the Gulf of Mexico.

In addition to the launch of the Islander, Margaritaville at Sea announced that starting in August 2024, it will offer new 3-night weekend voyages from the Port of Palm Beach on its Margaritaville at Sea Paradise ship. These “Saturdays at Sea” sailings will be available through December 2024, further diversifying the cruise line’s offerings.

The expansion of Margaritaville at Sea’s fleet and itineraries reflects the brand’s commitment to providing unique and memorable sea experiences, blending leisure and adventure for its guests. With these new offerings, Margaritaville at Sea is poised to become a more versatile and appealing choice for cruise enthusiasts.
