Margaritaville at Sea Offers Free Cruises for Heroes
In celebration of Veterans Day, Margaritaville at Sea is offering free cruise vacations to U.S. military personnel and first responders, including active-duty members, veterans, firefighters, EMS personnel, police officers, nurses, and teachers. Eligible individuals can claim complimentary double-occupancy staterooms on select sailings to The Bahamas and Caribbean aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise or the all-new Margaritaville at Sea Islander.
The offer is available for bookings made between November 11 and December 3, 2024, as part of an expansion of the cruise line’s “Heroes Sail Free” program, which has been providing complimentary cruises since its launch in 2022. The program, originally limited to two-night Bahamas cruises from Palm Beach, now extends to all available sailings throughout the year, including up to seven-night vacations.
Due to the program’s popularity, Margaritaville at Sea had previously run out of free cabins for military and first responders. However, the cruise line has released a new batch of available accommodations just in time for Veterans Day, allowing more heroes to enjoy a well-deserved Caribbean getaway.
This offer applies to select 2025 voyages with Ocean View cabins on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and interior cabins on the Margaritaville at Sea Islander. Travelers can opt for cabin upgrades if available and may add third and fourth guests for regular fare prices.
The promotion is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited. Some dates have already sold out, so interested parties are encouraged to book quickly. Heroes must verify eligibility through platforms like GOVX or ShopVCS before booking online. While the cruise itself is free, guests are responsible for taxes, fees, and port expenses, which are due at the time of booking.
In addition to the free cruise offer, Margaritaville at Sea is providing military members and other eligible heroes with a 20% discount on all regular retail bookings, allowing them to save on cabin upgrades or when booking any sailing throughout the remainder of the year.
