Mark Cuban Warns Elon Musk About Trump’s Loyalty Dynamics

Billionaire Mark Cuban issued a stark warning to Elon Musk about his support for former President Donald Trump, cautioning that Trump’s loyalty lies only with himself. In a social media post on X, Cuban addressed Musk directly, saying, “There will come a time when you need something from Donald Trump. You will think you’ve earned the right to ask and receive, but you’ll find out his loyalty is only to himself.”

Cuban’s message was a response to Musk’s recent claims that if Trump doesn’t win the presidency, it would mark the end of fair elections in the U.S. and lead to widespread chaos. Cuban, an outspoken supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, has publicly criticized Trump, calling him “unethical” and “dishonest.” Despite supporting Trump in 2016, Cuban has since distanced himself, now advocating for Harris’s campaign.

Cuban also suggested Musk backs Trump because of the potential to influence the former president, stating, “Having the power to manipulate the most powerful man in the world is far more valuable than Tesla sales.” The two billionaires frequently exchange barbs on social media, with Cuban recently expressing interest in buying X, Musk’s social media platform, if given the chance.
