Marriott Bonvoy, the extensive loyalty program of Marriott International, is giving basketball fans an exciting opportunity to earn rewards during March Madness with its new “Points for Points” promotion. The sweepstakes will offer 134 lucky loyalty members the chance to earn a number of Marriott Bonvoy points equivalent to the total number of points scored during the 2025 men’s and women’s DI basketball tournaments.

The promotion will run from March 10, 2025, until the start of the NCAA Sweet Sixteen on March 27, 2025. Marriott Bonvoy members can enter by visiting joinmarriottbonvoy.com/pointsforpoints and submitting their membership number for a chance to win. For those who are not yet members, joining the program is free, and new members can enjoy a range of benefits that come with Marriott Bonvoy, including exclusive offers and personalized travel experiences.

At the end of the championship, 134 winners will be randomly selected. Each winner will be awarded Marriott Bonvoy points equal to the total points scored during the tournaments. These points can then be redeemed for an array of travel experiences and stays at Marriott hotels worldwide. This initiative not only offers a unique way for fans to connect with the excitement of college basketball but also enhances the overall value of the Marriott Bonvoy program.

Marriott Bonvoy’s “Points for Points” is part of a larger campaign called “Game Day Rituals,” which aims to celebrate the connection between travel and sports passion. Mandy Gill, Managing Vice President, Brand and Marketing for the U.S. and Canada at Marriott International, said the promotion is a powerful extension of the campaign. She noted that the program is designed to enhance athletes’ stays and elevate fan experiences with welcoming accommodations, exceptional service, and unforgettable moments tailored to every traveler’s lifestyle.

In addition to the sweepstakes, Marriott Bonvoy members have the opportunity to participate in unique bidding experiences through Marriott Bonvoy Moments. With this platform, members can use their loyalty points to bid on exclusive VIP packages for the Men’s and Women’s Final Four events. The Men’s Final Four VIP Experience offers four packages that include front-row seats, a private behind-the-scenes tour of the Alamodome, VIP events throughout the Final Four weekend, and a four-night stay at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk. Similarly, the Women’s Final Four VIP Experience, available in four packages, features a special tour of Amalie Arena, courtside seats for the semi-finals and championship games, along with a four-night stay at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street.

Marriott hotels in San Antonio and Tampa are also hosting game day events such as the Men’s Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate, presented by Nissan, and the Women’s Final Four Party on the Plaza, presented by Buick. These public events include basketball-themed activities like sneaker cleaning and customization experiences hosted by Moxy Hotels, one of over 30 Marriott Bonvoy brands. Such activations are designed to engage fans, offering them a chance to prepare their game day attire while enjoying unique local experiences.

For fans looking to explore Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive world of hotel brands and exclusive college sports experiences, additional details are available at the NCAA Partnership Hub. The “Points for Points” promotion, combined with the VIP bidding opportunities, underscores Marriott Bonvoy’s commitment to blending travel, sports, and memorable experiences during one of the most exciting times of the year for basketball enthusiasts.
