Marriott Cancun Resort Transforms into Mexico’s First All-Inclusive Hotel

Marriott International, the world’s largest hotel chain, is expanding its portfolio of all-inclusive properties with the transformation of Marriott Cancun Resort into Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort. The resort, which is located on the beachfront of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, is undergoing renovations and is expected to open in 2022.

The resort will be the first branded all-inclusive hotel by Marriott in Mexico and will offer guests an array of amenities and services to enjoy a hassle-free vacation. The resort will have 147 guest rooms and suites, all with private balconies and views of the Caribbean Sea or Nichupté Lagoon. The rooms will feature beach-inspired décor, marble bathrooms and state-of-the-art technology.

The resort will also have 146 branded residences, which will provide owners with access to the hotel’s facilities and services, as well as a dedicated residential team. The residences will range from one- to four-bedroom units, with spacious living areas and kitchens.

The resort will offer six food and beverage venues, including a rooftop lounge with an outdoor terrace, a speakeasy-style bar, a signature restaurant with a seasonal menu, a lobby lounge with afternoon tea service, a garden terrace and a café. The resort will also have 16 meeting and event spaces, including a 4,500-square-foot ballroom and several boardrooms.

The resort will also feature a state-of-the-art spa and fitness center, with a 20-meter indoor lap pool, a sauna, a steam room, a relaxation lounge and treatment rooms. The spa will offer a range of wellness services and therapies, using products from Biologique Recherche and Kerstin Florian.

The resort will also have a lazy river and water park, which will provide fun and entertainment for guests of all ages. The resort will also offer a variety of water sports and activities, such as diving, windsurfing and kayaking.

Marriott Cancun Resort will join Marriott International’s collection of more than 30 all-inclusive properties across the Caribbean and Latin America. The resort will bring Marriott’s renowned service and hospitality to the all-inclusive market, catering to travelers who seek convenience, comfort and value.
