Marriott CEO on TV: Recovery underway, wariness needed

Marriott International CEO Tony Capuano declared on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday that demand is rapidly growing in the hotel industry but warned that caution and hygiene protocols are crucial as consumers return in force. “We can’t let our guard down,” Capuano said, noting that the hospitality giant is rehiring some of its thousands of laid-off employees and beginninh to recoup $276 million in losses.
