Marriott Expands Luxury All-Inclusive Portfolio with New Resorts

Marriott International is continuing its strong push into the luxury all-inclusive market, with new properties joining its All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. These new additions are set to redefine the all-inclusive concept, offering high-end accommodations and world-class amenities to travelers seeking the ultimate getaway.
Building on the success of its first luxury all-inclusive resort, Sanctuary Cap Cana, a Luxury Collection Resort in the Dominican Republic, Marriott has unveiled two new Luxury Collection properties in Mexico: Almare and Paraiso de la Bonita. Additionally, the much-anticipated W Punta Cana is set to open in Spring 2025.
Almare, Isla Mujeres – A New Era of Luxury
Almare, which opened in October 2024, marks Marriott’s first luxury all-inclusive resort in Mexico. Located on Isla Mujeres, this adults-only resort offers an intimate, luxurious retreat with 109 suites, each designed to provide guests with unparalleled comfort. Culinary delights await at renowned restaurants like Seasalt, The Breeze, and BOGA, while the Alma Spa delivers personalized wellness treatments designed for ultimate relaxation.
Paraiso de la Bonita, Riviera Maya – Sophisticated Tranquility
Paraiso de la Bonita officially joined Marriott’s Luxury Collection on January 30, bringing its newly renovated 100 rooms to the sought-after Riviera Maya. This sophisticated boutique resort offers world-class dining, exclusive wellness treatments, and a serene atmosphere surrounded by Mexico’s pristine Caribbean beaches, lush mangroves, and turquoise waters.
W Punta Cana – A Bold All-Inclusive Experience
Slated to open in Spring 2025, W Punta Cana will be Marriott’s first W Hotels-branded all-inclusive resort. With a design that blends the vibrant energy of W Hotels with an all-inclusive experience, this resort will feature music-driven activations, diverse dining options, and rejuvenating treatments at the AWAY Spa. The resort’s 340 suites will follow a low-density design, ensuring a relaxed, high-quality experience with a no-lines, no-reservations policy.
Expanding into New Markets
Marriott plans to further expand its luxury all-inclusive offerings with the introduction of JW Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton brands into the sector. Upcoming openings include the JW Marriott All-Inclusive in Costa Mujeres, Mexico, and JW Marriott Maricá in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. These new additions will help Marriott solidify its leadership position in the luxury all-inclusive market, catering to a wider range of discerning travelers.
Guests at Marriott’s luxury all-inclusive resorts will also benefit from the Marriott Bonvoy program, earning points and unlocking exclusive perks. Marriott’s dedication to expanding and innovating in the luxury travel sector sets the stage for exciting new experiences in the all-inclusive market.
