This innovative alliance is set to transform the way Hilton Honors members explore the outdoors. Soon, you’ll be able to book AutoCamp’s unique stays directly through Hilton’s channels. Not just a booking convenience, this partnership also opens up a treasure trove of exclusive benefits for Hilton Honors members, including the ability to earn and redeem points at AutoCamp locations. It’s important to note, as clarified by Hilton to AFAR, that this collaboration is not an acquisition but a strategic multiyear agreement designed to make AutoCamp’s unique lodging options available via Hilton’s booking platforms.

Chris Silcock, Hilton’s President of Global Brands and Commercial Services, shared the excitement around this collaboration, emphasizing its role in catering to the modern traveler’s thirst for adventure. This partnership marks a significant milestone as it represents the first-ever collaboration between a major hospitality brand and an outdoor lodging company, aiming to redefine the outdoor hospitality experience by offering even more choices to travelers.

Hilton, with its expansive portfolio of over 7,500 properties under 22 distinct brands globally, is renowned for the Hilton Honors program. This program is celebrated for its accessible status tiers, which unlock a range of benefits including discounted stays, free Wi-Fi, room upgrades, and more, enhancing the travel experience for members. The timing of this partnership aligns perfectly with a growing trend identified in a recent Hilton Trends Report, which revealed a strong inclination towards adventure and exploration among travelers for 2024, particularly among younger generations.

AutoCamp stands out with its locations in some of the most picturesque settings across the United States, including spots near Yosemite, Joshua Tree, and the Russian River in California; Zion in Utah; Cape Cod in Massachusetts; and the Catskills in New York. The brand is also expanding, with new locations in Asheville, North Carolina, Sequoia, California, and a forthcoming site in Hill Country, Texas, slated for 2025.

AutoCamp’s mission, as stated by founder and CEO Neil Dipaola, is to foster a connection between people, the outdoors, and each other. This mission is brought to life through AutoCamp’s exclusive Airstream units, spacious cabins, luxury tents, and a range of unique accommodations. The heart of each AutoCamp location is the Clubhouse, serving as a social nexus offering food, beverages, and retail options, all designed to enhance the communal and immersive nature of the outdoor experience.

The collaboration between AutoCamp and Hilton, along with Hilton’s recent partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, underscores Hilton’s commitment to broadening the spectrum of travel experiences and adventures available to its guests and Hilton Honors members, promising an enriching blend of comfort, luxury, and the great outdoors.
