McDonald’s detailed some of the progress it’s making on the diversity front by investing in more BIPOC-owned outlets and creators, even as workers in 14 cities went on strike to demand wage increases. “I am proud to be a part of McDonald’s continued effort to meet Women and diverse-owned businesses where they are by providing much-needed resources to do business in an ever-evolving marketplace,” said McDonald’s USA franchisee marketing director Vicki Chancellor.
