Mews, a leading hospitality technology provider, has acquired Clarity Hospitality Software Solutions, a property and event management specialist, to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and UK markets. The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.

The acquisition supports Mews’ continued growth in these key regions, where its customer base has expanded by 42% in APAC and 16% in the UK over the past year. Clarity, founded in New Zealand and active in the UK since 2016, serves high-end properties with technology solutions designed to streamline operations and enhance guest experiences.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Clarity’s experienced team to advance global hospitality transformation,” said Mews CEO Matt Welle. “This acquisition moves us closer to our vision of a connected network of hotels delivering personalized, tech-enabled experiences.”

Dougall Love, CEO of Clarity, echoed this enthusiasm: “Great hospitality technology boosts productivity, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Mews shares our vision, and we’re excited to continue supporting our clients with enhanced resources.”

Mews founder Richard Valtr called the deal a “strategic investment” in APAC and UK markets, where hotels are increasingly adopting cloud-based solutions.

This marks Mews’ 12th acquisition, following the purchases of Atomize and Quotelo in late 2023, along with Frontdesk Anywhere and HS3 earlier in 2024. The expansion aligns with the company’s broader growth strategy, supported by a $100 million funding round announced in September 2024 to accelerate innovation and market reach.
