Mexico drops airport face covering requirement

Mexico has dropped its face covering requirement for airports and flights operated by Mexican airlines. “Ambulatories and lounges in airport facilities are large and sufficiently ventilated spaces, while aircraft use a high-efficiency filtration system that removes 99.9% of particulate matter, bacteria, and viruses,” said Carlos Antonio Rodriguez, director of the Federal Civil Aviation Agency.
