MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is elevating its guest experience with a bold $300 million remodel of its 4,212 main tower rooms and suites. This extensive update, scheduled for complete delivery in December 2025, is set to redefine modern luxury with a sophisticated twist inspired by the disco era. The hotel’s ongoing transformation promises to allure both leisure and business travelers seeking a vibrant, contemporary stay on The Strip.

The remodeling project is focused on revamping the hotel’s accommodation offerings to meet the demands of today’s discerning guests. The first phase of the updated rooms will be available for booking beginning March 1, 2025. Guests can look forward to an atmosphere where timeless design meets modern conveniences, as each room will be outfitted with high-end finishes and state-of-the-art features.

Bathrooms are receiving significant upgrades with the inclusion of custom walk-in showers featuring elegant porcelain finishes. These enhancements not only offer a refreshing start to the day but also emphasize the importance of comfort and luxury. Along with these updates, the remodeled rooms will include blackout drapes to ensure a serene sleep environment, new stylish furnishings, and wall-mounted TVs that blend seamlessly with the room’s design. Built-in closet systems with lighted interiors are also being introduced to add a touch of sophistication while optimizing space and convenience.

In addition to these upgrades, MGM Grand is expanding its suite offerings. The hotel will introduce 111 new suites, increasing the total number of suites in the main tower to 753. The design concept for these suites emphasizes dark wood finishes, which evoke a sense of luxury and warmth. The suites are crafted to provide larger spaces that offer multifunctional areas perfect for both work and relaxation. This dual-purpose design caters to modern travelers who value both comfort and functionality during their stay.

But the remodel isn’t limited to accommodations alone. MGM Grand is also set to launch several new dining and entertainment experiences as part of its comprehensive upgrade. One of the exciting culinary additions is Netflix Bites, a dining concept inspired by popular Netflix shows. This innovative restaurant aims to fuse entertainment with gourmet experiences, appealing to a younger, tech-savvy audience looking for a dynamic dining atmosphere.

Additionally, the Palm Tree Beach Club is poised to become a new hotspot for daytime entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip. Created in collaboration with DJ Kygo’s Palm Tree Crew, this day club promises to deliver an energetic and stylish environment, complete with top-tier music and refreshing beverages. This addition underscores MGM Grand’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of entertainment trends in one of the world’s most vibrant casino cities.

“MGM Grand has long been recognized as the center of entertainment and excitement in Las Vegas, and these newly remodeled rooms, coupled with new attractions on the horizon, demonstrate our commitment to evolving the guest experience for both leisure and business travelers,” said Mike Neubecker, President & COO of MGM Grand. “These new rooms are a significant milestone in the property’s evolution as MGM Grand positions itself for the exciting developments set for the south end of The Strip.”

With a blend of modern luxury, enhanced amenities, and cutting-edge entertainment concepts, MGM Grand is ensuring its place as a leader on the Las Vegas Strip. Guests can anticipate a stay that is not only visually stunning but also perfectly tailored to the needs and desires of today’s traveler—all culminating in a memorable experience in the heart of one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
