MGM offers $607M for Swedish online casino company

MGM Resorts International has made an offer of approximately $607 million to buy all shares of LeoVegas AB, a Swedish online casino firm with licenses in eight jurisdictions, with the deal to be financed by existing cash. “We have achieved remarkable success with BetMGM in the US and with the acquisition of LeoVegas in Europe we will expand our online gaming presence globally,” said Bill Hornbuckle, president and CEO of MGM Resorts.
